Cookies are small files or similar technologies stored in a browser. Rebooko uses them mainly for sign-in, security, remembering settings and making the booking flow work correctly.

You can browse the public site and complete most booking steps without optional marketing cookies. Some necessary cookies are required for sign-in, administration, customer accounts or payment flows.

Necessary cookies

  • Authentication and sessions: Auth.js/NextAuth cookies for email/password, Google or magic-link login, admin, staff, superadmin and customer accounts.
  • Security: CSRF, callback and sign-in state, form protection and prevention of unauthorized requests.
  • Service settings: language, basic UI choices and technical settings needed to show Rebooko in the correct locale.
  • Onboarding and forms: if drafts or progress saving are enabled, we may store a technical identifier or step state.
  • Payments: for Rebooko SaaS subscriptions, Polar or another billing provider may set cookies required for secure checkout. End-customer payments for business services are not processed through Polar Checkout.

Optional cookies

Analytics, performance or marketing cookies are not required for basic booking. If enabled, they will be separated from necessary cookies and used only after consent where required by law.

The current cookie banner lets users accept consent or continue with essential cookies only. If a user chooses essential cookies only, optional analytics or marketing must not be enabled.

For an embedded booking widget on a business website, the business must align its own cookie banner and policy with the features it has enabled.

Third parties

Depending on enabled modules, Rebooko may use providers for hosting, email, SMS, payments, support, analytics and integrations. These services may set their own cookies or similar technologies.

Managing cookies

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • If you reject necessary cookies, sign-in, administration, customer accounts or some payment steps will not work.
  • You can reject optional analytics or marketing cookies in the cookie banner. Once a preference center is connected, you will also be able to change your choice.
